Ascend Performance Materials announces global price increase for Vydyne® polymers, compounds, fibers

Ascend Performance Materials announced today a global price increase for all of its Vydyne® branded polymers, compounds and fibers. The price increase is the result of rising raw material costs that are currently affecting Ascend’s business, according to Scott Rook, Ascend’s vice president of nylon materials.

The price increase takes effect September 15, or as contracts allow, and includes the following price changes:

Vydyne® (PA 66) polymers, compounds and fibers	Europe	$0.20/kg	As contracts allow Non-contract business – price determined on an order-by-order basis
