HOUSTON – January 23, 2013 — Ascend Performance Materials announced today that Tim Ziman, former Vice President of Strategy for Ascend, has been appointed General Manager, Chocolate Bayou Businesses, reporting to Tom Verghese, Vice President Chemicals.

In his new role, Ziman will lead a coordinated effort to create value for Ascend through optimization of emerging opportunities.
