FlexaTrac®-NTA
FlexaTrac™-NTA (sodium nitrilotriacetate monohydrate) is an aminopolycarboxylate with a primary function to control polyvalent metal ions in aqueous solutions by sequestration.
Commercial use of FlexaTrac-NTA continues to increase due to several characteristics:
- Readily biodegradable
- Effective buffering agent
- Stable in both strongly acidic and basic solutions over a wide temperature range
FlexaTrac-NTA also is applied in cleaning compounds to reduce various negative effects of ion hardness. The product is commercially available in both powder and solution form.
