Ascend to showcase cleaning solutions at ISSA/INTERCLEAN

Ascend Performance Materials, a global leader in the production of specialty plastics, fibers and chemicals, will feature a number of specialty chemicals designed to make cleaning products more effective and sustainable at ISSA/INTERCLEAN North America next week.

Among Ascend’s specialty chemicals products, the company will be showcasing the following:

FlexaTrac^™-NTA is a water-soluble and biodegradable chelating agent that is pound-for-pound more effective at sequestering hardness ions than other common solutions. FlexaTrac-NTA is ideal for hard surface cleaning applications, including industrial and institutional, and car washes.
FlexaTrac-ADA, a new high-performing chelating agent that meets stricter regulatory standards for household, and industrial and institutional cleaners and detergents.
Low-VOC solvents FlexaTrac-DME-200, DMG-500 and DMA-600, which have mild to no odor, are readily biodegradable, clear and colorless, and highly miscible with most organic solvents.

“We are focused on helping cleaning customers create products that do more with less,” said Ben Vaughn, a specialty chemicals product manager at Ascend. “Our chemistries are helping customers use less material to achieve the same effectiveness while reducing their products’ environmental impact.”

Ascend will be at ISSA/Interclean in Las Vegas, from September 11 – 14, at booth 313.

Ascend’s specialty chemicals division manufactures FlexaTrac acids and esters, FlexaTram^™ amines and FlexaTril™ nitriles. The company also offers several signature products, including Hexatran, Hextranol™, Prionil™ and Trinohex™.
