Ascend Performance Materials announces price increase for intermediate materials

Ascend Performance Materials announced today a price increase for its nylon intermediate materials.

The price increase takes effect October 1 and includes the following materials and terms:

Materials	Price Increase	Terms
Acrylonitrile (AN)	$0.12/lb	As contracts allow Non-contract business – price determined on an order-by-order basis
Hexamethylene diamine (HMD)	$0.14/lb	As contracts allow Non-contract business – price determined on an order-by-order basis
Adiponitrile (ADN)	$0.14/lb	As contracts allow Non-contract business – price determined on an order-by-order basis
Adipic acid (AA)	$0.05/lb	As contracts allow Non-contract business – price determined on an order-by-order basis
